Myth or Fact #11: "A bigger battery always means a longer-lasting phone"
MOSTLY MYTH: the screen, the chip and the software decide how fast the energy is used; mAh is only the tank size.
Bigger battery = longer battery life? Not always! 🔋
Battery life = the energy stored ÷ how fast the phone uses it.
Phone A: 5,000 mAh (19.3 Wh), big bright screen + hungry chip → uses about 2.4 W → dead in about 8 hours.
Phone B: 4,000 mAh (15.4 Wh), efficient screen + chip → uses about 1.6 W → lasts about 9.6 hours. 📱
The screen, the chip and the software decide how fast the battery drains. So: MOSTLY MYTH. ❌
(The same phone with a bigger battery does last longer.)
Tip: compare real battery-life tests, not just mAh. ✅
