What is the Internet of Things (IoT)? (you asked)
Everyday things with a tiny chip (like an ESP32), a sensor and Wi-Fi send readings to the cloud and take commands back from your phone; about 20 billion are online — change the default password.
You asked, @its_sania_khn0: what is the Internet of Things (IoT)? 🌐💡
🔌 Everyday things — bulbs, plugs, watches, doorbells — with a tiny chip, a sensor and Wi-Fi.
🌡️ The sensor measures (say 24 °C), the chip (like an ESP32) sends it to the cloud.
📱 Your phone reads it… and sends commands back: "light on!"
🤯 About 20 billion IoT devices are online — more than the 8 billion people on Earth.
💬 My take: super useful. But change the default password and keep it updated!
