Home Electrical Part 9: Hybrid inverter — solar, battery and grid in one box

// WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

A hybrid inverter feeds your home from solar first, charges the battery with the extra, and uses the grid only when both run short; it can also export to the grid.

// LESSON NOTES

You asked, @lekhan_.36 — what is a hybrid inverter? ☀️🔋⚡

1️⃣ THREE BOXES IN ONE: a solar inverter, a battery charger and a grid connection — all in one inverter. (Models exist for 230 V · 50 Hz homes in India, UK, Europe and 120 / 240 V · 60 Hz homes in the USA, Canada.)

2️⃣ SOLAR FIRST: by day, solar runs your home first. Extra sun charges the battery, and what is still left over goes to the grid (exported, where your power company allows it). At night it uses the battery first, then the grid.

3️⃣ POWER CUT? It cuts off from the grid in a split second — so no power flows into the dead line and line workers stay safe — and the battery (plus solar) keeps your lights on.
