Why does your phone get hot while charging?
the charging chip and the battery's internal resistance turn some energy into heat (I²R); fast charging = more current = more heat.
Why does your phone get hot while charging? 🔥📱
1️⃣ NO CHARGER IS PERFECT: the charging chip in your phone turns most of the power into stored energy, but a little of it becomes heat.
2️⃣ THE BATTERY ADDS MORE: every battery has a tiny resistance inside. Heat = I² × R, so double the current gives FOUR times the heat.
3️⃣ FAST = WARM: fast charging pushes more current, so it runs warmer. Too hot? Your phone slows the charging down to protect itself. Tip: take off a thick case while charging.
📌 A little warm is normal.
