Quiz #18: which unit is electric power? → C, the watt

// WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

C, the watt: power = volts × amps (W = V × A); volts push, amps flow, ohms resist.

// LESSON NOTES

Quiz! Which unit is electric power? 🤔 A, B, C or D? Comment before the answer! 👇

A) Volt B) Amp C) Watt D) Ohm

✅ C — the WATT!
💡 Power = how fast energy is used: 1 watt = 1 joule every second.
⚡ Volts PUSH, amps FLOW, ohms RESIST…
✖️ …and watts = volts × amps.
🌍 A 60 W bulb: 230 V × 0.26 A ≈ 60 W (India, UK, Europe) or 120 V × 0.5 A = 60 W (USA, Canada).
🏷️ That's the number printed on your bulb (an LED gives the same light at about 9 W).

Next quiz: a USB port gives 5 volts at 2 amps. How many watts? Comment your answer!
