Quiz #19: a USB port gives 5 V at 2 A — how many watts? → C, 10 W
// WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
10 W, because power = volts × amps = 5 × 2.
// LESSON NOTES
Quiz! A USB charger gives 5 volts at 2 amps. How many watts? 🔌🤔 Comment before the answer! 👇
A) 2.5 W B) 7 W C) 10 W D) 52 W
✅ C — 10 watts!
⚡ Watts = volts × amps → 5 V × 2 A = 10 W.
✖️ It's TIMES, not plus (5 + 2 = 7 is the trap).
📱 That's double the old 5 W cube (5 V × 1 A).
🚀 Fast chargers raise the VOLTS: 9 V × 2.22 A ≈ 20 W for phones, 20 V × 3 A = 60 W for laptops (USB Power Delivery).
