Did Elon Musk just make a car fly? 🚗💨
On 15 October 2026, at a SpaceX test site near Waco, Texas, Tesla showed the new Roadster:
1️⃣ UPSIDE DOWN: it drove upside down along a curved ramp, held on by suction fans.
2️⃣ FLIP + LAND: it dropped off, flipped in the air and landed on air thrusters. Tesla says it jumped 27 feet (about 8 m) with a barrel roll.
3️⃣ THE NUMBERS: 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) in 0.81 seconds on the live timer. Production is planned for 2028, no price yet.
A car that jumps — not quite a flying car… yet. All demo numbers are Tesla's own.
