Capacitor charging: RC time constant simulator
Charge and discharge a capacitor through a resistor and watch the curve.

// HOW IT WORKS
The idea in 30 seconds
- The time constant τ = R × C (ohms × farads = seconds).
- After 1 τ the capacitor is at about 63 %; after 5 τ it is over 99 % (practically full).
- Discharging is the mirror image: 37 % left after 1 τ.
- Timers, blinking LEDs and debounce circuits all use this curve.
